OpenField collects the following data when you register and use the app:
We process your data solely to provide the OpenField service — enabling field hockey teams to find each other for matches and tournaments. Your data is displayed to other registered teams within the app (team profiles, map pins, and match listings). We do not use your data for marketing purposes or share it with third parties beyond what is necessary to operate the service.
The app requests access to your device's photo library to allow you to upload a team photo, venue photo, or profile picture. Photos are only accessed when you explicitly choose to upload one. No photos are accessed, stored, or transmitted without your action.
The app may request camera access to allow you to take photos directly for your team or venue profile. The camera is only activated when you explicitly choose to take a photo. No images are captured or transmitted without your action.
All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS. Authentication uses secure JWT tokens. Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel. Data is stored on secured servers in the European Union.
Your data is retained as long as your team account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. After deletion, data is permanently removed from our servers.
